Plasma Skin Tightening

What is Plasma?

Plasma Skin tightening or fibroblast is described as a 'soft surgery'  that provides surgical like results immediately with minimal downtime. New to North America but preformed in Europe and Australia for over 20 years.

How does it work?

When the device is in close proximity to the skin it reacts with the skins natural gases creating plasma.  The plasma's contact with the skin creates a tiny dots leaving superficial carbon crust.  During this reaction the excess skin is eliminated forcing the skins collagen and elastin properties to react and create. As the skin renews its properties the carbon crust heals and falls off over a 7-10 day period continuing to heal and provide results for 12 weeks.

Where can it treat?

Plasma skin tightening tightens and eliminates fine lines, lose or excess skin almost anywhere on the body and can treat almost any area.

Does it hurt?

I use a numbing cream to help with the discomfort. Depending on your personal reaction with the cream and where you are having treated there is some very temporary discomfort. For a day or so the area could feel similar to bad sunburn as it heals.

What is the appointment like?

Most appointments last roughly 1 hour. The numbing of the area takes 40 minutes and treatment time is completely in 20 minutes or so.

No incisions, no anesthesia, no blood.

Aftercare is highly important to follow for best results, although it is easy and short lived. You can return to work the next day and only have a couple of restrictions.
